COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Police say they seized more than seven pounds of a synthetic drug from a Colorado Springs smoke shop and are seeking the owner of the business.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports (https://tinyurl.com/kl9388t ) the drug was seized Thursday during a search of a store called Ki Ki Smoke and a storage unit. They say they found 682 packets of the synthetic drug spice with a street value of more than $65,000.

Police say an arrest warrant has been issued for 50-year-old Alexander Kim, the owner of the store.

No phone listing could be found for Kim. No one answered a phone call to the store on Saturday.

It wasn’t immediately known if the seizure was related to a national crackdown on synthetic marijuana announced on Wednesday.
