OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) - Ribo Bobo took command in the stretch and drew off to win the $75,000 Decathlon Stakes on opening day at Monmouth Park on Saturday, beating Joe Tess by 1½ lengths.

Ridden by Paco Lopez and trained by Jason Servis, the 6-year-old gelding ran six furlongs in 1:09 1-5 and returned $5, $3.40 and $3.80. It was the third win in four starts for Ribo Bobo, who was sent off as the 3-2 betting favorite in the field of eight.

Joe Tess paid $11.20 and $8.20, and Be Bullish was 2¼ lengths back in third and paid $8.20.
