MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - The state of Vermont is going to be auctioning off to the general public surplus vehicles and other equipment.

The Department of Buildings and General Services’ auction starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Agency of Transportation Central Garage located on U.S. Route 302, in Berlin.

State Surplus Property Coordinator Terry Lamos says all vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder rain or shine.

Among the items that will be auctioned off are dump trucks, plow trucks, pick-up trucks, police cruisers, fleet passenger vehicles, cargo vans, box trucks, boats, four wheelers, snow mobiles, kayaks, riding mowers, tools and miscellaneous parts.

Auction registration and vehicle previews will be held before the auction begins.
