CORINTH, Miss. (AP) - The Alcorn County Board of Supervisors has appointed Corinth banker Brett Marlar to the board that oversees the Crossroads Arena.

The Daily Corinthian reports (https://bit.ly/1lZop4a ) Marlar will fill an unexpired term running through August 2017.

He replaces Thom Rogers, who left the seven-member board after serving 13 years.
