Louisiana’s first lady Supriya Jindal and Korie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” rappelled down a 24-story building in Baton Rouge on Friday — all in the name of adoption.

The women rappelled down more than 300 feet off One American Place during an event aimed at bringing awareness to the more than 300 foster care children who are ready to be placed in permanent homes, The Times-Picayune reported.

Louisiana Family Forum organizes the “Over the Edge for Adoption” event, which is in its second year. LSU football coach Les Miles rappelled down the same building last year, the paper said.

Miss Robertson reportedly brought two of her five children, Sadie and John Luke, to rappel down the building with her.

Miss Robertson and her husband, Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson, have adopted two children of their own, making the event personal.

The women and their husbands had met in February when the Gov. Bobby Jindal honored Mr. Robertson with the inaugural Governor’s Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
