CANDIA, N.H. (AP) - Police in Candia, New Hampshire, say they found thousands of dollars’ worth of marijuana and several guns in an apartment when they responded to an alarm. Two people were arrested on drug charges.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1jkfxjW) the building’s landlord said the tenants had installed the burglar alarm, which went off Friday.

Officers smelled marijuana and got a search warrant, where they found the drugs and weapons, and about $18,000.

Residents Jon-Marc Levasseur and Brandon Boisvert were charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.

Levasseur’s lawyer, Joseph Prieto, said his client is not responsible for what was found.
