BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Officials say a $27 million expansion of the Bismarck Civic Center is not yet complete but it’s ready to host an oil conference later this month.
The Bismarck Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1iyZlLM ) that the center’s exhibit hall is enclosed and is ready for the 600 vendors expected at the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference on May 20-22.
City officials, contractors and architects on Thursday led a media tour of the 50,000-square-foot expansion.
Official say the entire project is about 60 percent complete.
