SADDLEBROOKE, Ariz. (AP) - The Pinal County Sheriff’s Department says it has arrested a medical marijuana cardholder for illegally growing and selling pot.

Members of a narcotics task force recently served a search warrant at Stephen Cartwright’s home in Saddlebrooke after getting a tip that he was selling high-grade marijuana out of his residence.

The sheriff’s department says a sophisticated growing operation was found along with 97 plants. Detectives also found more than 60 pounds of packaged marijuana that was ready for sale, other drugs, drug paraphernalia and some cash.

Authorities say the plants and packaged drugs were worth an estimated $322,400.

Cartwright was arrested and booked into the county jail. He’s facing numerous drug charges. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.
