BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Public Service Commission is holding a public hearing on a proposed wind farm project in Stark and Morton counties.

The facility by Sunflower Wind Project LLC would consist of 59 wind turbine generators on about 12,700 acres of private land.

The project would include access roads, electrical collection systems and cabling, an operation and maintenance building, a substation, and an interconnection yard with a transmission line.

The company hopes to start construction in early 2015.

The schedule for the hearing includes a presentation by the company, questions from commissioners, and comments from the public.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the Hebron Community Center.
