COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Police in Columbia are investigating the shooting death of a man and the wounding of a woman.
Authorities say the shooting happened around 1 a.m. Sunday about a mile north of Columbia College.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts says 24-year-old Marcus A. Kennedy died after being shot in the upper body.
The woman was taken to a Columbia hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Her name has not been released.
No arrests have been made.
