TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say a central New Jersey man has admitted using a home computer to distribute images and videos of child sexual abuse.

Nathan Brochstein of Ocean Township faces 5 to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty Monday to distributing child pornography. He also will have to serve at least five years of supervised release once he’s freed from prison.

Brochstein will be sentenced Sept. 9.

Besides sharing the photos and videos, prosecutors say Brochstein admitted possessing more than 600 images of child sexual abuse on his computer and external hard drive. Both were seized from his residence in November 2012.

Brochstein acknowledged that the images and videos portrayed sadistic or masochistic conduct or other depictions of violence.
