CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - A southern New Jersey man who admitted taking his daughter’s teenage friend across state lines so they could engage in sexual activity is now headed to prison.

Federal prosecutors say 47-year-old Michael Kulick of Dennis Township received a 57-month sentence on Tuesday and will have to register as a sex offender. He also will have to pay restitution, but that amount won’t be determined until a July 9 court hearing.

Prosecutors say Kulick and his family went on a vacation in August 2012 to Lancaster, Pa., accompanied by his daughter’s 15-year-old female friend. Kulick admitted engaging in sexual contact with the friend while staying at a hotel in Pennsylvania.

After returning to New Jersey, Kulick continued to have a sexual relationship with the daughter’s friend for about two months.
