CENTER, Mo. (AP) - The body of a northeast Missouri man who went missing last week while mushroom hunting has been found in the Salt River.

The Hannibal Courier-Post (https://bit.ly/1jDd8WZ ) reports that the body of 62-year-old Terry L. Marshall of Hannibal was found Monday. He had been missing since May 6, prompting a search that involved hundreds of people.

An autopsy is planned. Authorities say Marshall’s body was found near his boat near the small town of Center in Ralls County. Officers believe he may have fallen from the boat into the river.
