STARKSBORO, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police are investigating the burglary and vandalism of the Starksboro town offices, including the theft of copper water pipes from the basement.

Police say Starksboro town officials reported Monday that someone had broken into a shed next to the town office that holds recreation equipment.

The suspects then broke into the town office, vandalizing it and stealing the pipes.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the state police in New Haven.
