LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - Police have arrested a 30-year-old Lafayette man for allegedly burning a 2-year-old in a scalding bath.
Cpl. Paul Mouton tells The Advertiser (https://bit.ly/1oSWSRR ) Lafayette police arrested Harry Chandler Wallace on Tuesday. Wallace was booked with cruelty of a juvenile. His bond is set at $5,000.
Mouton says police received a complaint on May 6 about a 2-year-old victim who received second-degree burns on the top of his feet and right buttocks.
It was unclear whether Wallace has an attorney.
