SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Wofford College is holding its 160th commencement exercises with 360 graduates getting their diplomas.
The graduation is being held on the lawn of the campus’ Main Building at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Spartanburg. Lemonade on the lawn follows the ceremony.
The school is conferring three honorary degrees.
Dr. Charles Coffey, vice president of Behavioral Health Sciences at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, is receiving the honorary doctorate of science degree.
The Rev. Susan Thurston Henry-Crowe, general secretary of the United Methodist General Board of Church and Society, is receiving the honorary doctorate of divinity degree.
Dr. George D. Kuh, the Chancellor’s Professor of Higher Education Emeritus at Indiana University-Bloomington is receiving the honorary doctorate of humanities degree.
