GAINES, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a 24-year-old man was killed when a train struck him as he lay on Canadian National Railway Co. tracks in Genesee County.

The Flint Journal and The Argus-Press of Owosso say the man was hit Saturday in Gaines, about 15 miles southwest of Flint. Authorities identify him as Triston D. Bosley of Owosso.

State police say they got a call about 5:15 a.m. Saturday and say the man was declared dead at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
