PHOENIX (AP) - Mesa High School administrators have come under fire after the school yearbook published a two-page spread devoted to teen parents.

The Arizona Republic (https://bit.ly/1ngPC0V ) reports that parents called in to complain about the spread in the 255-page yearbook. The spread, titled “I’m working a double shift,” features photos and a description of how difficult it is to raise children while being a high school students. The photos show a teenage boy kissing a pregnant girl’s stomach and another boy reading to a toddler.

Parents said they think the photos are inappropriate. However, a spokeswoman for Mesa Public Schools said she does not expect the school will change any yearbook policies as a result of the controversy.
