PAGE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a man is in custody for allegedly fatally stabbing his cousin at a home in Page.

They say an altercation occurred between family members about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday and Welch was stabbed several times and later died of his injuries.

Police haven’t released the name of the suspect yet.

They say he fled the scene in a vehicle after the stabbing and was later picked up by Navajo Nation tribal police.
