GAUTIER, Miss. (AP) - A $10 million, 18-acre medical complex is coming to Gautier.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1oRcesT ) Bienville Orthopedic Specialists revealed its development plan during the Gautier Business Association meeting Monday night.

The complex on Mississippi 57 will house 100,000 square feet of medical facilities.

The complex will be completed in phases. Chandra Nicholson, director of economic development and planning for Gautier, said the first phase is expected to break ground in three months.

The first phase will be a three-story, 45,000-square-foot building and will house four tenants.

The second phase will be a 55,000-square-foot building with the capacity to hold 35 practicing physicians. That phase is expected to begin in a little more than a year.
