DALLAS (AP) - Dallas police say they’re searching for a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of three others outside a tire store.

Investigators are looking for a 35-year-old man they say is a person of interest in the shooting Wednesday evening that took the life of a Dallas resident they identified as 29-year-old William Hill. Police say two others who were shot suffered injuries not considered life-threatening. A third person who later appeared at a hospital is believed to be another victim of the shooting.

Police say the shooter was armed with a rifle when he chased Hill around the building, ultimately shooting him multiple times.

Investigators did not immediately provide details on what prompted the gunfire.
