CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia Lottery says a Powerball ticket purchased in Weirton is worth $1 million.

The buyer of the ticket picked five winning numbers in the May 17 drawing of the multistate game. The person who selected the winning combination had not come forward as of Wednesday.

The winning numbers from the drawing were 23-32-39-47-49 and the Powerball was 22.

The lottery says the ticket is the 10th sold this year in West Virginia worth $1 million or more. The $1 million tickets involved the Powerball and Mega Millions games. That number doubles the previous high set last year.
