BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A New York man has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison for conspiring to distribute crack cocaine and heroin in Vermont.

Andrew Hollins of Brooklyn, known as “Thuggin,” was arrested last June at a Quality Inn in Colchester, Vermont. Police said Hollins was trying to hold the door closed to police so an associate could flush money and drugs down a toilet.

Officers ended up pulling $8,000, heroin and crack cocaine from the toilet.

The 27-year-old Hollins pleaded guilty to the charge in January.
