SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - Authorities in northeastern Pennsylvania say they’re questioning a person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of a cab driver.

Forty-seven-year-old Vincent Darbenzio was found dead in his cab shortly before 5 a.m. Friday near the entrance to a Scranton housing complex. The car was running and the door was open.

Lackawanna County Coroner Tim Rowland said the victim died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

Darbenzio worked for McCarthy Flowered Cabs. Company owner Brian McCarthy said the money Darbenzio had made in the last 10 hours of his shift was still in the car.

He had just started working for the cab company on April 23.
