CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - U.S. Senator Mike Enzi has filed for re-election with the Wyoming Secretary of State’s office.

Enzi on Friday criticized what he called the overreach of federal policies in health care, energy and the economy.

The Wyoming Republican has been in the U.S. Senate since 1997.

Enzi faced an initial challenge from Liz Cheney, but the daughter of former Wyoming Congressman and Vice President Dick Cheney later withdrew.
