FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Two men were arrested in the killing of a man whose body was found on a roadside between Flagstaff and the community of Leupp.

Coconino County authorities say they arrested 35-year-old Gabriel Lewis and his uncle, 51-year-old Marvin Curley, in the death of David Alan Christine.

The three men were acquaintances.

Christine’s body was found Wednesday by a passing motorist.

Investigators say Curley fatally choked Christine with a wire and then brought the body to the roadside location.

They also said Lewis was implicated in the crime, even though he wasn’t present when Christine was killed.

Curley was booked on suspicion of first-degree murder, while Lewis was booked on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

It’s not known whether Lewis and Curley have attorneys.
