D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Everybody living in D’Iberville will have the same ZIP code starting July 1.

Two annexations in the last 15 years left some people living in the legal boundaries of D’Iberville using Biloxi addresses and ZIP code.

Enola Rice, spokeswoman for the U.S. Postal Service, tells The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/1hgJ3rB ) the change will give all residents a 39540 ZIP code.

Rice says letters are being sent to remind residents to make the change.

She says customers with stationery reflecting Biloxi as their city address will be allowed an exception of up to one year to exhaust their current stationery supply.

City planner Jeff Taylor says the city supplied addresses from tax and voter rolls so the Post Office could send letters to residents of those areas.
