EASTPOINTE, Mich. (AP) - State police say a speeding motorcyclist who refused to pull over on Interstate 94 in suburban Detroit struck a pickup truck, killing himself and setting both vehicles afire.

Sgt. Paul DiPietro tells The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens the crash happened about 4 p.m. Saturday in Eastpointe.

DiPietro says the motorcyclist had a felony warrant. Two people in the pickup sustained minor injuries.

Michigan authorities say crashes killed four other motorcyclists Saturday.

Seventy-year-old Michael Sutfin of Warren died when a pickup pulled in front of him in Roscommon County, and 54-year-old William Raymond of Watervliet died when an SUV pulled in front of him in Berrien County. A Big Rapids man hit a deer in Lake County, and a Southgate man hit a minivan in St. Clair County.
