NEW YORK (AP) - Police have charged a teenager with misdemeanor assault in connection with the death of a Swiss national outside a Bronx bodega.

Brownie Lopez’s arrest Sunday came hours after he turned himself in to the 48th precinct.

Information on the 19-year-old’s lawyer wasn’t immediately available.

Police say Oliver D’Orio of Switzerland was found unconscious and unresponsive early Friday outside the Guerrero Bodega on Washington Avenue.

They say the 37-year-old suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead on arrival at Saint Barnabas Hospital.

The New York Post posted surveillance footage Friday showing a man in a tank top hitting a shirtless D’Orio and knocking him backward outside the bodega.
