MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) - Just in time for Memorial Day, Nassau County health officials say most beaches are open for the season.

The county health department said Sunday that three beaches are closed due to a sewage bypass.

They are: Soundside Beach in Bayville, Roosevelt Beach in Oyster Bay and Laurel Hollow Beach in Laurel Hollow.
