CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - The top-ranked Oregon State Beavers will host next weekend’s Corvallis Regional, one of sixteen sites selected for the first round of the NCAA baseball tournament.

The Beavers finished the regular season 42-12 and claimed the Pac-12 title for the second straight year.

The 64-team field for the postseason tournament will be announced on Monday. Oregon State is expected to earn one of the eight national seeds.

It is the fifth time that Oregon State has hosted a regional.

The Beavers have advanced to the postseason for six straight seasons, and they’ve made 15 appearances overall. Oregon State won back-to-back College World Series titles in 2006 and 2007.
