MANDAN, N.D. (AP) - This year’s Memorial Day ceremony at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan will be led by a father-and-son military duo.

The master of ceremonies is North Dakota Air National Guard Col. Robert A. Schulte, commander of the 119th Medical Group. The featured speaker is his father, retired Army National Guard Maj. Robert E. Schulte.

Other scheduled speakers are Gov. Jack Dalrymple, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, Rep. Kevin Cramer and Maj. Gen. David Sprynczynatyk (sprihn-suh-NAT’-ihk), adjutant general for the North Dakota National Guard.



The ceremony is slated to begin at noon Monday.
