YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Two people have been arrested in Yuma in connection with a drive-by shooting last weekend.

Yuma police say 21-year-old Eduardo Castro Vargas and 24-year-old Donna Amao both have been booked into the Yuma County Detention Facility.

They say nobody was injured in the drive-by shootings, which occurred about 3 a.m. Saturday.

Police say Castro allegedly was driving the vehicle and Amao was a passenger.

Castro is being held on suspicion of attempted murder, drive-by shooting, assisting in a criminal street gang and discharging a firearm at a residential structure.

Police say Amao is being held on suspicion of attempted murder, drive-by shooting, assisting in a criminal street gang and discharging a firearm at a residential structure.

It was unclear Wednesday if either Castro or Amao had lawyers yet.
