LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Parents wondering what to do with their children this summer might be able to come up with some ideas after Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer announces new summer activities for children.

Fisher is scheduled Tuesday morning to announce summer programs for children and teens that will be held in the city’s parks and community centers. The mayor is also going to unveil a new Cultural Pass for kids that will allow them to visit local attractions and museums for free during the summer.

The goal of the pass is to help kids learn outside the classroom, stimulate creative thinking and help improve academic achievement.
