MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities were awaiting dental records for one of four people found dead in a suburban California home before releasing their identities, a sheriff’s spokesman said Wednesday.

The identities of three of the victims in the apparent murder-suicide in Mission Viejo have been confirmed, but authorities want to release all the names at once, said Lt. Jeffrey Hallock, spokesman for the Orange County sheriff.

Two of the dead people are males and two are females, Hallock said. He did not disclose their ages or relationships or who was believed to be the killer.

The bodies were discovered Tuesday by deputies responding to a 911 call from a relative, Hallock said.

The house is located in a development called Pacific Hills, a modern neighborhood of two-story, upscale homes on winding streets.

The home is owned by Mark and Lydia Sheer, according to property records that also show a related listing at the address for Mark Sheer Seminars, which is part of a consulting company founded by Sheer that provides coaching for business professionals.

Mission Viejo is a city of about 95,000 in the southern section of Orange County about 50 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
