GRANITE CITY, Ill. (AP) - Authorities suspect a methamphetamine lab caused a house explosion in southwestern Illinois’ Granite City.

Investigators say no one was injured in the blast about 10 p.m. Tuesday that had been divided into apartments, though some windows were blown out.

Police say the suspected methamphetamine maker fled the building.

There was no immediate word on any arrests or charges.
