Jones suffered various wounds and was taken to the University of Medical Center in Jackson where he was put on life support.

Adams County Coroner James Lee says Jones died from the injuries on Tuesday.

Forty-nine-year-old Marvin Antony Watson turned himself into authorities the same day of the shooting and was charged with attempted murder.
