WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) - Police say a man found dead along the shoreline of Lake Wausau died from a head and neck injuries and hypothermia.
Authorities say the death of 29-year-old Ezequias Mendez-Perez was apparently accidental.
Police Capt. Gregory Hagenbucher says Mendez-Perez was last seen walking near the Cabaret Bar on Sunday evening and was very intoxicated. WAOW-TV (https://bit.ly/1lU0785 ) reports his roommate told investigators that he commonly used a steep trail near the lakeshore to walk to and from the bar. His body was found along the rocky shoreline Tuesday.
