LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation has named former Arkansas football player and one-time Razorback Foundation president Chuck Dicus as its next president.

The Game and Fish Foundation says Dicus will succeed Steve Smith as president of the Game and Fish nonprofit organization on July 1.

The Foundation was created in 1982 and is described by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission as its fundraising auxiliary.

Dicus played football at UA and later played three seasons in the NFL.

From 1991 to 2008, he led the Razorback Foundation, the private entity that raises money for UA athletics.
