PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) - A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with two of three shootings that occurred during a large fight at an apartment complex north of Detroit in Pontiac.

The Oakland County sheriff’s office says Thursday that Dario Johnson of Pontiac has been arraigned on charges of assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Deputies responding to reports of the May 19 fight found a 17-year-old man shot in the back. A 24-year-old man was shot in the leg and dropped off at a hospital.

Chris Stephens of Pontiac was shot in the chest. The 19-year-old also dropped off at an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. His slaying remains under investigation.
