ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Fury Kapcori led all the way to win the $100,000 Precisionist Stakes by 5¾ lengths at Santa Anita on Saturday.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Fury Kapcori ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.11 and paid $2.80, $2.40 and $2.10 as the 2-5 favorite.

It the fourth win in a row for Fury Kapcori, trained and co-owned by Hall of Famer Jerry Hollendorfer.



Handsome Mike returned $7.20 and $3.80, while Majestic City was another three-quarters of a length back in third and paid $2.80 to show.

A crowd of 26,211 was on hand to watch local favorite California Chrome win the Kentucky Derby in a simulcast from Louisville, Ky.

The victory, worth $60,000, increased Fury Kapcori’s career earnings to $479,880, with six wins in 14 starts.
