TAYLORS FALLS, Minn. (AP) - Chisago County sheriff’s officials say the body of a Coon Rapids man who disappeared after jumping into the St. Croix River to help his nephew has been recovered.

KSTP-TV (https://bit.ly/1hjp2Gm ) reports Tou Hu Vang’s body was found by fishermen Friday morning.

Vang was fishing with his 11-year-old nephew last Sunday when the boy slipped into swift-moving river. Vang and a bystander jumped in to rescue the boy. The bystander was able to pull the boy to safety, but Vang vanished under water.
