BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (AP) - The body of a Bloomington man last seen more than two weeks ago riding his bicycle has been found inside a storage locker
The Pantagraph in Bloomington reports (https://bit.ly/1hkejvg ) McLean County sheriff’s deputies on Friday were called to a storage unit rented by the family of Dan Gaines. When it was opened, they found Gaines’ body inside.
Coroner Beth Kimmerling said Gaines was pronounced dead at the scene. She said an autopsy will be conducted, adding there is no indication foul play was involved in his death.
Authorities say the 59-year-old Gaines was last seen May 12. He was the subject of an extensive search, with authorities seeking help from the public in the effort.
