BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A dispute over cab fare apparently led to a standoff and shootout with police that wounded two officers and the suspect.

The Boulder Camera reports (bit.ly/1k93vAl) that two officers responded to a dispute over cab far in the city’s University Hill neighborhood near the University of Colorado-Boulder campus.

City spokeswoman Sarah Huntley said one officer suffered a superficial leg wound and another was injured by a piece of glass.

Officials have not released the name or condition of the injured suspect.

The shooting remains under investigation.
