Iowa man found guilty of sexually abusing child

MUSCATINE, Iowa (AP) - A Muscatine man has been found guilty of sexually abusing a child in 2003.

The Muscatine County Attorney’s Office says a jury reached the verdict Thursday in the case of 63-year-old David Roy Rickey following a three-day trial. He was found guilty of second-degree sexual abuse.

Rickey was accused of sexually abusing a 6-year-old child in 2003. Additional information about the case was not released.

Rickey will be held without bond in the Muscatine County Jail pending his sentencing on July 3.
