DETROIT (AP) - Detroit police are angered by the discovery of a man and his girlfriend found fatally shot inside a home.

Capt. Anthony Topp tells WDIV-TV (https://bit.ly/1kraoat) that “this stuff has to stop.” He says, “I’m getting tired of it.”

The bodies of 52-year-old Melvin Tucker and 42-year-old Deena Edwards were discovered at Tucker’s home Friday. Police believe the pair may have known the attacker.

A pastor, the Rev. Alfred Calvert, says the shooter “hurt an angel,” a reference to Edwards.

Topp says the public must step forward to help solve crimes and prevent new ones.
