NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings has added Adam Cohen and Derrick Jones to his staff.

Cohen spent the 2013-14 season as an assistant coach at Harvard, which reached the NCAA tournament and set a school record with 27 wins.

Jones has been at Louisiana Tech the last four seasons. Louisiana Tech won 27 games in 2012-13 and 29 in 2013-14 while winning regular-season conference championships both years.

In a release Friday announcing the hires, Stallings said “both are extremely hard workers, great recruiters and good men, and have very impressive backgrounds.”

Vanderbilt had a couple of openings on its staff following the offseason departures of David Cason and Yanni Hufnagel. Cason left to become an assistant at VCU. Hufnagel joined the staff of new California coach Cuonzo Martin.
