NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A dispute between two men ended with one being fatally stabbed on a Newark street and the other facing numerous charges.

Essex County prosecutors say Ibn Shabazz and Al Rasheed Metz were arguing late Friday afternoon when the dispute turned physical. Shabazz then allegedly stabbed Metz, who was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

The 24-year-old Shabazz was charged with aggravated manslaughter and weapons offenses. His bail was set at $350,000 and it was not known Saturday if he had retained an attorney.

Prosecutors say the two men knew each other, but have not said what they were arguing about or what Shabazz used to stab Metz. They also said a cause of death has not yet been determined.
