SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Equipment malfunctions could create delays for passengers going through security checkpoints at the Savannah Hilton-Head International Airport.
Airport officials released a statement Saturday warning passengers to arrive early and allow extra time to get through Transportation Security Administration checkpoints.
Airport officials say an X-ray machine used in the Pre-Check lane at the airport malfunctioned Saturday morning. All passengers have to travel through two functional lanes at least through Monday.
Officials recommend arriving at least two hours ahead of the time your flight leaves.
