GATINEAU, Quebec (AP) - Canada’s Jennifer Abel and Pamela Ware won their first international gold medal, topping the women’s 3-meter synchro event Sunday in the Canada Cup.

Abel and Ware, competing in their home province, finished with 322.71 points.

China’s Wu Chunting and Zheng Qulin Zheng finished second at 305.70, and Americans Maren Taylor and Deidre Freeman were third at 286.80. China’s Zhang Yanquan and Huo won the men’s 10-meter synchro, and compatriot Ren Qian topped the women’s tower.
